  40. THE PARTY 1991 was,  according to you,
  41. the diskmags, newspapers, and computer
  42. magazines,  the biggest & best   Amiga
  43. party ever.  And as everybody wanted a
  44. second party we (The Organizers) would
  45. like to invite YOU to:

  48.         (Part II, The Final!)

  51. ³WHERE AND WHEN?
  52. ¹
  53. THE PARTY 1992   will be  held  in the
  54. same  huge  conference  centre as last
  55. year,   but this time we will not only
  56. use Hall 1 but also Hall 2 and 3. That
  57. means  6500  Square metres,   almost 3
  58. times as large an area,  as last year.
  59. The party place  is located  in  Aars,
  60. 35 KM south of Aalborg, Denmark. It'll
  61. be held   from  Sunday 27 December  at
  62. 0800 CET to Tuesday  29 December  1992
  63. at 1500 CET.

  66. ³FACILITIES:
  67. ¹
  68. - Room for at least 1500 people
  69.   including tables and chairs for
  70.   everybody.
  71. - At least one FREE bus will drive
  72.   nonstop from Aalborg Railroad
  73.   Station to the party place, both the
  74.   first and the last party day! So if
  75.   you are going by train, then travel
  76.   to Aalborg. A new highway has been
  77.   made since last year so it won't
  78.   take long to drive.
  79. - Enough electricity for everyone,
  80.   with a professional electrician 24
  81.   hours a day to avoid any power
  82.   problems.
  83. - All info about what's going on will
  84.   be published on a large bulletin
  85.   board, infoscreens, the big screen,
  86.   and the infochannel.
  87. ¢THIS POINT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE
  88. SPREAD PAPER INVITATION:
  89. ¹- 6x4 meter  high  quality  screen for
  90.   competitions, movies etc.
  91. - Extremely  powerfull HI-FI equipment
  92.   to guarantee  perfect  soundquality.
  93.   Last year people complained that the
  94.   speakers were playing to low.   Yes,
  95.   the soundquality  was good,  but too
  96.   low.     This was because  the sound
  97.   equipment  which  we  ordered  never
  98.   arrived, so we had to use some  home
  99.   equipment.     We now have a written
  100.   contract with a Discoteque,  so this
  101.   time, you better put  cheese in your
  102.   ears.
  103. ¢THIS POINT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE
  104. SPREAD PAPER INVITATION:
  105. ¹- A  real  CAFETERIA  will be open  24
  106.   hours a day!!!!!!! Yez, we just made
  107.   this great deal!     In the big hall
  108.   there will be a SNACK BAR, where you
  109.   can buy sodas and chips.    And YES,
  110.   last time people complained that the
  111.   food etc.   was too expensive  so we
  112.   have  done  something serious  about
  113.   this.        The cafeteria got a new
  114.   management, and that means:
  115.   LOWER prices!
  116. - This time we have  3 TV channels and
  117.   1 radio channel.        They will be
  118.   broadcasted  so anyone  who  bring a
  119.   TV-set/radio and an antenna  will be
  120.   able to watch:      2 moviechannels,
  121.   1 infochannel, and listen to 1 radio
  122.   channel.      Last  time  there  was
  123.   recieving problems,  but this time a
  124.   new  transmitter  has been  built to
  125.   ensure perfect broadcast quality.
  126. - The toilet  facilities  are good and
  127.   if  you  want  a shower  then that's
  128.   ofcoz possible too.
  129. ¢THIS POINT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE

  131. ¹- A Lazerdisc room  with  a big screen
  132.   300x250 cm.    and  Dolby  pro logic
  133.   surround sound showing new lazerdisc
  134.   movies 24 hours a day!!! This screen
  135.   is  the  same  screen  which  people
  136.   liked last year and  which  was used
  137.   for the demo competition.
  138. - Cleaning personel to ensure that you
  139.   will be able  to walk around  in the
  140.   halls.
  141. ¢THIS POINT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE

  143. ¹- Modemtrading has been cancelled  but
  144.   there  will be  a lot  of new  stuff
  145.   released at the party anyway, so..
  146. - Stand  with  a local computer store,
  147.   selling disks etc.
  148. - Lugage room,  for  those  wanting to
  149.   have taken care of their equipment
  150.   and lugage with small fee. This is
  151.   smart to use for people who are not
  152.   bringing a computer with them.

  185. Overall Demo/Music/GFX rules:

  187. - All contributions must be delivered
  188.   at the reception near the entrance
  189.   to one of the organizers.
  190. - The people taking part in the
  191.   competitions must be present at the
  192.   party.

  194. Demo Competition:
  195. - Each group can contribute with as
  196.   many demos as they want to, but
  197.   only one demo from each coder.
  198. - Max. Demo length: 30 min.
  199. - The demos must be able to run on a
  200.   standard (1.2/1.3) A500 with 1 MB
  201.   memory. If they don't, bad luck...

  203. Music Competition:
  204. - Each musician is allowed to
  205.   contribute with 1 tune.
  206. ¢THIS POINT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE
  207. SPREAD PAPER INVITATION:
  208. ¹- We will play a maximum of 6 minutes
  209.   per module. We will make a jury of
  210.   about 10 musicians who are present
  211.   at the party. They will select 20
  212.   tunes which we will then play to
  213.   the audience.@t1
  214. - Your tune must be delivered as an
  215.   executable file to avoid any
  216.   problems with players etc.

  218. Gfx Competition:
  219. - Each artist is allowed to contribute
  220.   with 1 picture.
  221. - The picture must be loadable from
  222.   Dpaint4.
  223.  
  224. Intro Competition:
  225. - Intro length max: 40KB.
  226. - The intro must be able to run on a
  227.   standard 1 MB Amiga 500.

  230. ³PLEASE NOTE:

  232. - We will not accept anybody selling
  233.   food, disks etc. etc. etc.
  234. - People who can't behave will be
  235.   thrown outside until they can, real
  236.   troublemakers will of course be
  237.   handed over to the police.
  238. - People who cause any damages will
  239.   of course have to pay for it.
  240. - Please help us putting your trash
  241.   in the trashcans and bags. Reason? -
  242.   last year 20 people used 2 days to
  243.   do it.
  244. - If you have made a video or
  245.   something else amazing, bring it
  246.   with you and we'll gladly show it at
  247.   the big screen. Just hand your
  248.   productions to an organizer in the
  249.   reception near the entrance.
  250. - We take no responsibility for
  251.   illegal swapping, software, video,
  252.   etc.
